Wilmar is seeking applications for the Fugal Operator position. The position is based at Plane Creek Mill located in Sarina, QLD and will suit someone who is self-motivated and doesn't need close supervision. Previous related experience is preferred but not essential as we will provide training for a person who displays the right aptitude and team fit.
The role may be Seasonal or Permanent dependent on the successful candidate's year round skill set and this will be determined on a case by case basis by Management. The position involves continuous shift work during the crushing season, weekend work and some overtime may be required.

Primary responsibilities:
- Produce raw sugar to quality specifications, make necessary adjustments based on visual inspection, Laboratory results and feedback from your Operations Coordinator.
- Produce Magma and C molasses to quality specifications
- Sample sugar and molasses streams for Laboratory analysis
- Complete regular housekeeping in Fugal area and surrounding plant
- Regular inspection of plant and equipment, report maintenance issues to your Supervisor
- Completion of log book and data collection
- Work in conjunction with the Pan Boilers, Operations Coordinator, and other stakeholders as necessary

- A demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with a whole range of people
- A true team player who understands the value of teamwork and doesn't need to be asked to contribute
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to proactively focus on stakeholders
- Someone who takes personal responsibility and accountability seriously
