The Role

UGL Mining East operate across various coal mines throughout the Bowen Basin, we are seeking applications from highly experienced and motivated trades to join our Maintenance Teams in the Southern Bowen Basin. Are you an experienced…?

  • Mechanical Fitter
  • Electrician (HV a bonus but not essential)
  • Boilermaker
  • Rigger (Intermediate or Advanced)
  • Scaffolder (Intermediate or Advanced)
  • Industrial Blasters & Painters

About You

To be considered for the role you will possess the following skills, experience, and attributes:

  • Relevant Trade Certificate
  • Current Coal Board Medical - preferred
  • Standard 11 or BMA Core Induction – Certificate of Attainment
  • RIIWHS202D Enter Confined Space – Certificate of Attainment
  • RIIWHS204D Work Safely at Heights – Certificate of Attainment
  • MSMWHS217 Gas Test Atmospheres - Certificate of Attainment
  • Previous Mining experience
  • High regard for Safety
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great time management skills
  • Ability to work within a team and unsupervised
