Do you have a passion for providing positive customer service experiences and are looking to kick start your career as a Business Trainee? Our client, a large banking firm are looking for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander candidate with a genuine interest in banking and finance services to complete a Certificate III in Business.

Working within a local branch based in the heart of Gladstone, this is an amazing opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience and skills throughout a 12 month traineeship.

ON THE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide customers with a positive branch experience
  • Engage in needs-based conversations with customers
  • Provide advice and educate customers on digital solutions
  • Teach customers on self-service ways of banking
  • General banking and telling duties; money handling, facilitating transactions and ATM Maintenance

ABOUT YOU:

  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Ability to take direction and work within a team
  • Punctual, reliable and positive attitude
  • Customer service/ money handling experience (highly desirable)

Prior to their formal offer, the successful candidate is required to undergo a Probity Police Check.
