We are seeking an enthusiastic Finance Officer to join our team at our Farleigh Office. The position is a diverse hands-on role, overseeing our multiple office departments and assisting our directors in their day-to-day tasks.

You will be responsible for:

  • Accounts Receivable & Payable; Generate invoices, account statements, following up payments on invoices due
  • Performing End of Month Reconciliations
  • Coordinating processes, documents, and records for office employee and clients 
  • Payroll processing 
  • Assisting in general financial management and analysis
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
  • Provide executive and administrative support to the directors as well as day-to-day office management
  • Developing and implementing new administrative systems / procedures as and if required.
  • Producing reports, composing correspondence, and drafting new contracts & proposals

 

Successful candidates will have the following skills & experience:

  • Executive support experience 
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Experience with accounting software; Reckon Accounts Premier.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting and accounts payable / receivable principles; Proven ability to calculate, and manage financial records
  • Previous experience handling Contracts & working with complex information
  • Proven ability to follow and reiterate office processes & procedures
  • Knowledge of plant & equipment in mining & constructions industries desirable but not required 
  • Strong organizational / time management skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Good relationship building skills and ability to be self-motivated
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate drive and initiative, with a proactive approach to work
