About the Role

Gladstone Ports Corporation is actively seeking applications from motivated candidates with an aptitude for manual work within our Operations Department. This unique learning opportunity aligns with GPC’s local employment strategies and aims to provide those with limited industry experience to further develop portable machinery and plant skills.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Understanding of basic equipment pertaining to Machinery operations;
  • Labouring and basic hand tools knowledge;
  • Capability to work flexible hours;
  • Complete training targets;
  • Ability to work across different work groups.

About You

We are looking for candidates with a growth mindset and a willingness to develop your skills in machinery operations, you will be able to prioritise safety while working constructively within a team.

Mandatory requirements

  • Meet age restrictions for high risk tickets (minimum of 18 years old with a ‘C’ Class Manual Drivers Licence)
