Our client has operations across Queensland and leverages world class practices as well as a continuous improvement mindset.  With upcoming needs in the Environment team in 2023, we are searching for experienced Environment Advisors.

About the Role
Working on an operational mine, you will be accountable for ensuring environmental support for the site, ensuring regulatory compliance and monitoring is completed.  This includes participating across reporting (NGER as well as site reporting), managing permits, EMPs as well as any testing programs.  Fostering a culture of accountability, the role will also have a key aspect of training, stakeholder engagement and liaison with teams on site to further build on the sustainability of the site.

About You

You are qualified in Environmental Science together with experience working in the mining or related field.  Our client is open to a range of experience and looking for a great fit to the team where you will have the opportunity to leverage your team approach (sharing ideas, participating in projects and contributing to audits etc) as well as your communication (liaison with key internal and external stakeholders) and of course reporting.
