We have a permanent opportunity for an Electrical Fitter Mechanic located at Richmond and are inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates.
The role:
As an Electrical Fitter Mechanic, you will:
- Install, repair, commission and maintain various items of electrical equipment and plant.
- Be trade qualified with a Queensland Electrical Fitter Mechanic licence.
- Operate within Energy Queensland (Ergon Energy and Energex) requirements for quality, safety and risk assessment compliance.
Critical to your success in the role is your:
- Demonstrated knowledge of an electricity distribution/transmission system, including construction and maintenance of the electrical network.
- Working knowledge of Electricity Act & Regulations, Workplace Health & Safety Act and Regulations, and other relevant statutory acts & regulations.
- Availability for call out and emergency work.
- Willingness to travel to surrounding areas from time to time to undertake work.
- Current ‘C’ class open Drives Licence.
This is a 9-day fortnight position.
Annual salary starting from $89k + Super + Applicable Allowances + Housing Assistance available.
