The Opportunity

We are currently seeking to appoint an Early Years Educator to work as a part of our UnitingCare Remote Family Care Service on a Full Time basis.

In this role you will work as part of our Remote Family Care Service to develop and implement early childhood development programs. This is a remote service delivery role that is predominantly delivered in rural and remote locations resulting in approximately 80% of work hours spent travelling. Educators are required to reside on property within family settings for up to 21 days on a rostered basis, delivering safe, high quality, early childhood programs.

What you'll need

You will be a highly motivated and energetic person who has demonstrated experience working with young children or within an early learning environment. In addition to the above you will also be required to have:

· Diploma and/or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) or be currently enrolled and due to complete within the next 6 months

· Current Senior First Aid/CPR Certificate

· Current Drivers Licence – Presentation of a current Drivers Licence must be made before your appointment to the position can be confirmed.

· Working with Children Check (Blue Card) – Presentation of a suitability Card must be made before your appointment to the position can be confirmed.

· A criminal history check may be conducted on the recommended person for this position.

· The successful applicant must be eligible to legally work in Australia and proof of eligibility may be requested.

· Demonstrated experience in the use of computer software.
