Full time Early Childhood Teacher (Part Time Applicants considered)

About the role:

C&K Biloela Community Childcare Centre is a community based, not for profit Centre, located in Biloela QLD. They are very proud of their large, natural outdoor playground, and the large trees offer lots of natural shade for children and educators to learn and explore together.

C&K provides high quality educational experiences through the implementation of the new revised curriculum "Listening & Learning Together" by encouraging children to express their own ideas through play to develop friendships, explore, solve problems, help others, imagine, create and extend on their interests.

This position is varied with lots of opportunity to be a part of the center through different roles and responsibilities. The Centre is looking for an Early Childhood Professional who is flexible and willing to commit to the Centre through 2022 on a 12-month fixed term contract, with a possibility of extension.. Full time, working 40 hours a week, accruing an RDO.

In your new role you have the opportunity to learn and grow through C&K, to bring new skills and ideas to challenge your knowledge and deliver excellence in early education.

We welcome applications and interest from newly qualified Teachers interested in their first Teaching role within Early Childhood, as well as experienced teachers with an understanding of a play-based curriculum encompassing birth to 5 practice across the centre.

To be successful for this role:

Bachelor's Degree in early childhood or equivalent (recognised by ACECQA as an early childhood teaching qualification) or studying towards
Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers desirable
Experience delivering a Kindergarten program
Knowledge of National Quality Framework and Standards ("NQF" and "NQS"), the Early Years Learning Framework ("EYLF")
Current Paid or Exemption Blue card
Current First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis
An understanding of the provision of a safe, well planned indoor and outdoor learning environment
An ability to document observations of children's behaviour and development
An ability to implement a planned program, ensuring the needs of individual children and the group are met
Exceptional relationship skills with families, children and other educators within the service
