Located in Rockhampton, Kingsley College has seen a steady growth of students over the last five years. Founded in 1993, our college educates students with a Christian worldview, emphasising the Word of God and the Lordship of Christ in their service to the world. We currently have more than 200 students studying on campus and via distance education.
Our campus is also home to our Early Learning Centre. Opened in the middle of last year, our centre has modern built-for-purpose facilities, and we nurture and educate children aged 3-4 as they prepare for school life.

Kingsley College now has a new and exciting opportunity for a Diploma Educator to join our Early Learning Centre team in Rockhampton, QLD, full-time.
About the Opportunity
As our Diploma Educator, you will be responsible for leading and supervising child-centred play. Working with our other Educator and Early Childhood Teacher, you will supervise children playing in our outdoor area, and be proactive and responsive in finding opportunities to teach children through play.
Our centre operates from 7:30am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, and as our Diploma Educator, you will either work from 7:30am and work until 3:30pm or 9:30pm to 5:30pm. Our ECT will join you, and our other educator will support.
You will also have the opportunity to take the lead on school holidays, creating activities and plans for children in our centre.
We follow the EYLQF in our plans, while also using the opportunities and the world around us to create inquisitive, play-based learning opportunities.

- A minimum Diploma of Early Childhood Education
- A QLD Working With Children's Check or the ability to obtain before starting
- High-level communication skills with staff, students, and families
- Strong digital literacy
You will have the ability to implement our Christian values and philosophy in the Early Learning Centre and other aspects of College life to foster faith and deliver positive educational outcomes for students.
You will be comfortable serving students from a range of socio-economic and cultural backgrounds; high achievers, and those with learning difficulties. You will also be able to adapt your approach to each student's needs and explain concepts in a way they will understand.
