The Student Central Directorate was established to support and prioritise the needs of our students at CQUniversity and enhance their individual student experience. As Data Compliance Advisor you will play a pivotal role in the ongoing improvement and compliant management and reporting of student data, particularly for State and National regulatory purposes. In this role, you will assist in the analysis and evaluation of reporting needs and generate reports geared toward initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and quality of services provided to students.

You will possess the ability to understand legislative and reporting requirements for student data, excel in computer literacy and data manipulation, and exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Your experience with corporate databases, dedication to improvement, and adeptness in resolving complex administrative issues will also be notable.

Position Requirements

  • Knowledge of or ability to acquire knowledge of relevant legislative and reporting requirements relating to student data and management information systems.
  • High level computer literacy with experience in the development of spreadsheets and databases and use of customer relationship management software.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manipulate data, identify trends and present statistical and written information in an organised and concise manner.
  • Experience in the use of large corporate databases and web-based programs.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continual improvement with demonstrated experience in identifying and implementing improved systems and processes in the workplace.
  • Demonstrated ability to use initiative, organise and prioritise work, meet deadlines, deliver services, and resolve complex administrative or stakeholder related problems.
  • A relevant degree with subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in technical or administration fields; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training. (Desirable)
