We currently have multiple career opportunities to lead the delivery of the Transmission Lines and Substation components of significant energy future focussed projects.

You will be working hand in hand with our project team and tier-1 construction partners to support the successful delivery of a critical and complex customer focussed HV transmission lines and substation focussed projects.

As part of supporting the on-site construction activities of these projects you need to be prepared to travel potentially to regional construction sites a number of times per week during the construction execution phase.

About you

You have gained your professional experience in overseeing the site delivery of multiple high voltage transmission line and substation projects, with responsibility for:

  • On-site construction activities
  • Contractor management
  • Quality management
  • HSE experience
  • Landholder & Stakeholder experience and
  • Material co-ordination

What you will need:

  • Electrical Trade and/or Electrical Engineering tertiary qualifications coupled with significant experience in leading the construction of HV Assets.
  • Be able to read and understand electrical drawings, including line diagrams, schematic and general layout
  • Supported by significant construction site management experience in the HV transmission sector or similar
  • Be prepared to work from regional construction sites for up to a number of days per week or when required, to support the on-site project and construction delivery teams
  • Demonstrated time management, planning and organisational skills, prioritising and negotiation a challenging construction schedule
  • Tenacity and initiative to work through complex construction activities and issues focussed on optimised and efficient delivery
  • Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills, achieving success through your broad collaboration, consultation, negotiation and influencing skills
What next?

We encourage regional applications from the larger Gladstone, Townsville and South East Queensland regions. Interstate and international applicants will be eligible for relocation expenses support. Vehicle, transport and accommodation solutions will be provided as part of your site requirements.
