Through our Business Talent Scout ("white-collar") and Trade Talent Scout ("blue-collar") recruitment services, we assist businesses to recruit and retain high-calibre candidates for "hard-to-fill" roles, primarily in the Construction, Civil, Engineering and Manufacturing sectors.

The Opportunity

This is a busy and varied role, plays a crucial role in building relationships between Jobs in Central Queensland and the communities we serve.

This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including community members, local businesses, and partner organisations.

We partner and work-closely with a group of high-quality, growing employers, across the Central Queensland region.  Our approach is highly customer-focussed, to provide a personalised service and assist local businesses to recruit the right staff.  The market is booming at the moment and the outlook is strong, so we are looking for the right person to join our successful, growing team.  

If you would like to work independently with the support of experienced management and a great brand, this could be the opportunity for you!

This opportunity is part-time with flexible hours, approximately 25 per week - roster schedule could suit school hours (e.g. 9am-2.30pm daily with a half hour break).  We have an office in Gladstone but this role will be a hybrid working arrangement, combining some work-from-home as well as working in the office and out in the field.  

Your Skills and Experience

We're looking for a great communicator who is outgoing and energetic, with a passion for collaboration, to join our team and build positive relationships and customer engagement activities, both online, via telephone and face to face.  The successful candidate will have previous work experience within marketing, B2B sales, recruitment or employment services.
