C&K Emerald South Community Childcare Centre are currently looking for a part time Clerical Assistant who can assist the Centre Director with the administrative and financial functions of the centre. The Clerical Assistant will be maintaining the center’s records, accurately recording the attendances of children and staff, as well as other ad hoc administrative duties. The service is looking for someone who is confident, can maintain confidentiality and is open to learn new skills. This position is permanent part time. 

Ideal applicants will have:

Qualification in business administration or related course is preferred but not essential
Hold Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care or currently enrolled and studying towards desirable
Previous experience in a similar role as a clerical or Educator
Previous experience with Kidsoft desirable
Hold or willing to obtain a Paid Blue card (working with children check)
Proven well developed written, verbal, interpersonal communication and presentation skills coupled with a strong customer service focus
Demonstrated high level of organisational and time management skills
Ability to maintain a very high level of confidentiality and integrity
Be approachable amongst the community of families, children and employees
