Client

Brightside Recruitment is currently working a renowned AOD organisation that works across the Queensland region, providing support services to people affected by Alochol and Other Drugs.  

Role

Our client is currently expanding a team of motivated and knowledgeable Case Workers. The Case Worker will empower people affected by AOD to share their story their way through the implementation of trauma informed engagement, information gathering, planning processes and ensure the active involvement of families in decision making at each phase towards self-determination. In addition, the Case Worker will act as a key point of contact for the related service network. The Case Worker will provide casework, group work and service coordination facilitating access to programs, services and activities which connect, protect and heal. You will be part of a strong and experienced team and given the tool and guidance to grow and develop within the organisation.

Criteria

  • Demonstrated commitment to want to specialise in AOD, experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Relevant tertiary education & experience within the sector
  • The ability to apply a flexible, non-judgmental and empowering approach to service delivery.
  • Demonstrated positive working relationships with other agencies in a service network, and experience with shared casework, or group work.
  • A current Queensland driver’s licence.
  • A current Queensland Working with Children’s Check.
