The Role
This position will be accountable for the development of the Livingstone Shire Council Bushfire Management Strategy, coordination of bushfire mitigation strategies including the mapping of fire trails and breaks, community education and liaising with other agencies.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
• Tertiary qualification in Environmental Studies, Public Safety (Firefighting) or other relevant fields and/or relevant experience; and
• Possess and maintain a current motor vehicle driver licence.
