About the Role


As the Branch Manager - Emerald, you will have the opportunity to drive the strategic direction for the region, ensuring alignment to the Company’s’ overall objectives and operating model. This role will provide the successful candidate with the scope to identify and implement continuous improvement and operational excellence interventions and your ability to influence and engage others on this journey will be key to driving and imbedding change.

This is a position that encompasses people, customer and financials. You will be responsible for the operational and P&L performance of this Region and do so with the customer front of mind. You are also someone who understands the importance of ensuring service levels from each key functional area, meet or exceed the benchmarked targets.

We are looking for an experienced functional leader with strong financial acumen to take on this role and drive the business, through our people, to new and exciting heights.

Day to day tasks include:

Driving safety practices in the workplace, focusing on hazard management, safety discussions and general safety awareness
Providing a point of escalation for key customer contacts in the event of operational issues
Develop and train staff
Maximise productivity by setting strong targets and consistent measurements
Maintaining and improving service excellence
Effective implementation of business strategies
Achieve or exceed budget expectations
Qualifications

Strong verbal & written skills, communication is an essential part of the role
Previous experience in a similar role / industry would be highly advantageous although not essential
