The Team
Dean Williamson Dental comprises a group of Mackay locals who love our community! We strive to provide our patients with the best dental care they have ever received! Why? because they deserve it! Our practice opened in December 2020 after over 6 months of planning and renovations to Mackay's magnificent Customs House.
Staying up to date with the latest technology and equipment is a priority. We always have been (and always will be) committed to developing and expanding our skills. Our team has a strong focus on our core values and also love to share a laugh and have fun at work.
The Practice
It is an honour to be the custodians of the Mackay Customs House. This spectacular building was constructed in 1901 and was the base for all Customs services in Mackay. Situated on the Pioneer River, the building has since been home to multiple businesses over the years and has certainly withstood the test of time.
In 2007, the Customs House was entered into the State Heritage Registry which aims to preserve the original and historic features of the building for years to come.
Dean Williamson Dental worked closely with a specialist dental designers and fitout company, heritage architects and the Queensland Government’s Department of Environmental Services to ensure that our renovations were as conservative as possible. We absolutely love working in this building and aim to preserve it's features for posterity.

The Position

We will consider any employment type (i.e contractor, employee, etc.) and either full time or part time. No matter how many years of experience you have after university, we would like to hear from you.
Let's get technical
Our surgeries are equipped with ambidextrous Dentsply Sirona Treatment Centre with the latest intraoral imaging technology. We have digital X-ray sensors, Trios scanners with 3Shape software and 3D printing capabilities. We use the NSK Surgic Pro Optic motor for implant surgeries and the Dentsply Sirona X-Smart IQ Endo motor for seamless endodontic procedures.
By far our favourite piece of technology is The Wand – an amazingly comfortable anaesthetic delivery system for both practitioner and patient. All our surgeries are equipped with The Wand, ready for you to use – we guarantee you’ll love it as much as we do (we will, of course, show you how it works).
We are constantly on the lookout for new technology that will make our patients (and our) lives easier.
