Glencore, one of the world’s largest natural resource companies, has mechanical and electrical apprenticeships on offer across their Australian Coal Operations, commencing in January 2024.
Our Queensland Coal Operations across the Mackay and Emerald regional coalfields are offering apprenticeships in Electrical, Metal Fabrication/Mechanical (dual trade), Plant Mechanic/Mechanical (dual trade) or Auto Electrical/Plant Mechanic (dual trade).
Whilst our Coal Operations in the Hunter Valley and Mudgee regions of New South Wales are offering apprenticeships in Electrical, Mechanical (Open Cut / Underground), Auto-Electrical or Metal Fabrication.
About our apprenticeships:
Our four-year Apprenticeship Program will allow you to:
- Develop skills, experience and knowledge to become a qualified tradesperson
- Access to onsite and offsite TAFE training
- Learn from leaders in their field

Candidates must have completed at least Year 10 by the end of 2023 to be considered. Mature age candidates are welcome to apply.
