Our Host Employer provides bespoke environment solutions to some of the region's largest industries - across water and wastewater management, resource recovery, waste management solutions and energy services. This role offers you an opportunity to secure both knowledge and paid work experience, creating a platform that you can use to build an amazing future career in Engineering with unlimited exposure to Diesel Fitting across all services they provide.

When you join this apprenticeship program, MEGT will be your legal employer. This means we will pay your wages and monitor your training while you are placed with our valuable and experienced Host Employer. Working alongside MEGT and Registered Training Organisations, you'll get valuable on-the-job experience while you work towards a nationally accredited qualification: a Certificate III in Engineering.

Your duties may include but will not be limited to:

  • All aspects of Diesel Fitting
  • Fitting machinery and vehicles
  • Servicing & repairs
  • Inspect and maintain vehicles and equipment
  • Auto electrical work
  • Welding
