About the Role
Centurion Bulk Dangerous Goods & Explosives are currently searching for Specialised Ammonium Nitrate Drivers to join our team based at our Rockhampton depot. This opportunity is commencing in early May 2023. We have multiple positions available.
The successful drivers will be offered 125K per year Plus Super and Allowances with a Family-friendly roster of 6 days on 6 days off (Dayshift only & home most nights).
This driver will be responsible for the transportation of Bulk Ammonium Nitrate Emulsion & Ammonium Nitrate Bulk Prill products to our customer specified sites in a safe manner, ensuring our suppliers and customers expectations are met on schedule.
Duties

Conforming to all Dangerous Goods regulations and legislation

Transporting Ammonium Nitrate products in a safe and efficient manner to and from customer sites

Attention to detail while completing documentation
Skills and Experience

Current MC Licence
-
DG Licence
-
Explosives Drivers Licence Class 5.1
-
Experience in B-Double and Road Train combinations

Queensland Security Clearance
-
Dangerous Goods experience, short and long haul

Experience with operating Bulk Tippers / Emulsion tankers

Willing to work on other tasks during quieter periods – General freight and/or willing to obtain further development within the Explosives division
