Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an Admin to join our growing Team at KBX Mechanical based in Mackay.

We are a family owned and operated business. KBX is a small but growing Civil mining & constructing company in the Bowen basin we range from Labour hire, equipment hire, Project management and site safety system analysis and development both locally, site based and nationally across Australia list doesn’t stop there. 

You will provide vital administrative support to the team and efficiently and autonomously implementing and managing key processes and documentation. You will be expected to work close with other admins within KBX to support across various roles.

You will need to have excellent communication skills to be able to build a positive relationship across all levels with our clients and assist in smooth day to day operations internal with our site and town based personnel/crews. To have a friendly and approachable persona and adaptable to fast-paced work environment and quick thinking. 

Tasks and responsibilities including but not limited to; 

Detailed Preparation of records internally and Externally
Maintenance of comprehensive contract filing systems 
Setting and maintaining administrative standards and strategies across site and town based teams
Daily timesheet management across various sites 
Site compliance for employees and equipment 
Onboarding requirements across sites for personnel and equipment (Site specific) 
Assisting in daily and monthly Invoicing
Assisting in Weekly pay runs
Data management 
Strong communication skills requiring you to liaising with client & employees
Ad hoc office administration as required

A can-do Attitude 
Experience in using sharepoint, outlook, software applications and knowledge of Microsoft office suites.
Experience in the Civil construction industry preferred but not necessary
Experience in reporting and data analysis of project financial performance preferred but not necessary
Strong communication skills required
Attention to detail is paramount
Xero experience preferred but not necessary
Ability to work unsupervised whilst apart of a distributed team
Not scared to ask question and able to take direction

However we are willing to provide full training as required to the right applicant. The salary is negotiable based on experience.

Successful applicants should be prepared to work a 38hr week Monday-Friday.
