We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual who loves having things organised, has excellent communication skills, thrives in a small well managed team environment, and has high attention to detail.
Working with our North Queensland Depot Operations Manager, you are tasked with ensuring the depot runs smoothly whilst maintaining alignment with Head Office requirements. Your value is to take initiative and be a problem solver by providing administration relief for the Operations Manager. Our industry is dynamic, and you need to be on the ball. Whilst this position is administrative, the role requires someone with experience who can think about the bigger picture and be the fusion between clients, this depot, and Head Office. You are being provided with the opportunity to work with the Operations Manager in taking this depot to the next level.
Duties include:
∙ Provide a high level of customer service to clients
∙ Must have great initiative for process improvement and simultaneously be willing to follow current processes
∙ Accurate maintenance of records for: Clients, Vehicles, Health & Safety, Human Resources (large % of this role)
∙ Ability to provide our accounts team (head office) with accurate job paperwork and driver timesheets on a weekly basis (major performance indicator for this role)
∙ Attending to phone calls and emails, must have great phone presence
∙ Manage IT requirements in conjunction with head office
∙ Travel and event management for Depot
∙ General office management: groceries, stationary, office cleanliness, mail
Requirements:
∙ Must have minimum 10 years office administration experience (retail administration does not qualify)
∙ Be presentable and well-mannered
∙ Enjoy working with a small team and autonomously
∙ Want to work with competent and driven colleagues across all depots
∙ Great time management with an ability to meet strict deadlines on a consistent and repetitive basis
∙ Communicate effectively face to face and in print
∙ Be friendly
∙ Ability to self-motivate. You must be pro-active in your role and provide solutions. However, when the circumstance arises, be just as happy to be re-active and still be solution focused
∙ Immediate commencement
