About the opportunity:

This is outstanding opportunity to join one of the countries largest livestock agency organisations based in Rockhampton. You will be required to assist the Nutrien livestock team to grow and facilitate the Stud Stock business, with a strong focus on customer and network growth throughout Queensland.  Managing customer relationships, facilitating all requirements and opportunities to execute tailored marketing and selling solutions to allow customers to derive maximum value. 


  • Identify and meet client requirements, providing tailored solutions.
  • Promote and develop business growth and the company profile by proactively identifying opportunities, canvassing customers, promoting company services, products, and initiatives across all activities. 
  • Provide professional service to all clients, suppliers and business. 
  • Proactively develop effective multi-level and multi-activity relationships with key customers across the business.
  • Promote and represent Nutrien Ag Solutions at relevant industry meetings, conferences and most importantly ‘on farm’.
  • Provide market intelligence on industry trends, marketing trends, competitor activities and strategies, etc. 


About You:

To be successful you will need to be self motivated with a real passion & understanding of livestock, in particularly the seed stock industry. In addition, you will have;


  • Enthusiastic team contributor.
  • Strong knowledge of livestock confirmation & breeding principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail & negotiation skills
  • Current drivers’ licence. 
  • Computer literacy.
