Account Manager - Central QLD

Job Description

About The Role

This role will see the successful candidate primarily responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customers across central QLD. Ultimately, you will be accountable for driving revenue growth through existing customers as well as looking for opportunities to partner with new accounts.

Sales area will include Mackay, Rockhampton, Gladstone, Bundaberg 

Key clients will include: 

State Health
State Government
Administration furniture in Schools 
Universities and tertiary segment
General B2B commercial companies

Key Responsibilities
Building strong relationships with existing customers
Build relationships with Designers 
Introducing new product lines to existing accounts
Sourcing new business development opportunities within your region
Preparing quotations for key customers
Working with a variety of stakeholders within the education sector
Using your consultative approach to influence decision makers
Effectively managing use of the CRM
Maintaining a healthy sales pipeline 

Skills and Experience
Experience in Account Management, Business Development or similar sales role
Track record in growing revenue through a portfolio of customers
Ability to work cohesively with various decision makers
Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills
Strong business acumen
Experience selling furniture a bonus
